Apr. 11, 2021 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Our service at the Fort York Food Bank continues this Sunday, April 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is an amazing way to provide a much-needed hot meal as well and friendship and hope to the most vulnerable members of our community. COVID safety protocols limit us to a maximum of 10 people at any one time. This means we need up to 9 volunteers to prep, serve, and clean up. The 10th person will be Margaret, whom many of you will know as an amazing FYFB volunteer. Masks are required for all volunteers. The meal will be prepackaged and served takeout style. Please let Mary Lou Harrison know ASAP if you can help out from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If you need to leave before 1:00 p.m., please let Mary Lou know. More people are needed at the beginning of the day. Rotary & Rotaract members, friends of Rotary, alumni, and potential members are all welcome! Contact: rotarianmarylou@gmail.com, and you can text/phone me at 647-992-4495. Note that if you are feeling unwell, have any COVID symptoms, have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days, or been in close contact with any COVID positive person in the last 14 days without wearing appropriate PPE, please don't volunteer this time. |
